I suggest you start by trying to convince your parents about contacts rather than coloured contacts. Coloured are more expensive and if you ask for these your parents will think its just a cosmetic issue. You can always try and persuade them about coloured lenses later. You are likely to get disposable lenses so this is a change easy to make and its less complicated to buy and get used to normal lenses.
Now it could be that your parents are saying no because they can't afford them. contacts are expensive and the money is ongoing as they are disposable and also you need eye checkups regularly. At 15 you are certainly old enough to look after lenses correctly.
contacts have massive advantages, particularly if you play sport or like things outside as you have better depth perception , better field of vision , they aer less easily damaged and more comfortable to wear. You need to work out teh type of thing which is important to your parents e.g. education and concentrate on advantages that play to that. Offer to get a part time job and part finance the lenses yourself - that should convince them its somethng you seriously want. Try and get a time when they aren't busy and get them to sit down and discuss it. Suggest that you have an appointment with the optiican for a fitting and test lenses and then a decision is taken when you have done this and can assess the total cost.
