how to get rid of acne scarring?

    i've been using duac prescription cream for my acne for about four months now, my pimples have all gone and my skin is now smooth, but i still have dark red spots (scarring) on my cheeks and i'm unsure what to use to make them go away, any suggestions for treatments or methods to help?

    Regularly exfoliate your skin to remove the surface skin/dead skin cells and reveal the young, new skin beneath. Also try buying Vitamin E capsules, pop them open and put the oil over your scars. Hope this helped!

    Maybe ask your doctor about chemical peels or microdermabrasion. If your doctor doesn't know about those treatment or who to refer you to, see a dermatologist, medical spa or plastic surgeon. I have personally received mild chemical peels for my reddened scars from acne and it helped a great deal.
