About a year ago i had a little tiny accident with a little tiny carving knife, resulting in a big huge cut across my left palm. Its all healed up now of course, however the remaining scar is still a little sensitive to impact/hard use. the scar does not bother me aesthetically, but i was wondering if there is anything i can do about the sensitivity, has to be somewhat natural and not involve a soldering iron, microwave, or hammer.

You could try DMSO, I had some success on a scar from an animal bite which eventually disappeared. There are plenty of posts on the internet about quality and providers.

I had a similar problem with a cut from a very sharp kitchen knife. It remained sensitive like yours for maybe a year, and during that time I did worry about it. It did however go away eventually.

The pain could be due to stretching. If that's the case, then Vit E oil, Rosehip oil, or Bio Oil all work very well for not only fading the scar but improving the elasticity.

    Good luck.
