Being allergic to Sulfa does not necessarily make you allergic to sulfur and sulfur products. As long as the reaction doesn't come back, you should be fine.

I only take 2 instead of 3 Alli a day. I noticed after first night or two I awoke with mild itchiness (a symptom of my sulfa allergic reaction in the past) but it appeared to go away after the first couple of nights. Then I read in the Alli FAQ asking if it contains sulfur that "Yes. alli may contain trace amounts of sulfur, in the form of sodium lauryl." I have been on Alli 7 days and noticed great results taken strictly as directed. If the itchiness doesn't return, should I continue or stop immediately and see a doctor? I am afraid to suddenly stop and experience weight gain, however if I have to stop perhaps stopping at the first week is the best time? Please advice, I actually want to continue taking it if I can as I notice no other bad side effects.
