I've had Oral thrush for little over a year now, and it doesn't really bother me other than the fact that it's ugly. When I first noticed it, I went to the doctor and without thorough examination, he said it was most likely Geographical tongue and left it at that. I was still a little worried, only because I had unprotected sex with my then boyfriend, but since it had been atleast 10 months since we had sex, I didn't think anything of it. (this docotr's visit was last year.) But lately I've been having diarrhea, and I know that these both are signs of HIV/AIDS. I went and had some blood drawn for something irrelevant to this and as far as I know, the tests were normal. -although it was not an official HIV test. (this was a month or 2 ago). I'm thinking, if something was wrong with my blood, they would've seen it, right? Should I be scared? Because I am.

*Note that I am sort of a hypochondriac with everything

  2. Dear concerned:

Calm down, you are worried that you have HIV. Symptoms are the worst way to diagnose HIV, because HIV have LOTS and LOTS of symptoms.

Hivtest.org offers free std testing and screening if you are in the us. Look up a clinic close to your area and go there during business hours. Its confidential. If your test was not HIV test, nothing will show up. So you need to do this and you get your results fast, oral quick it was like 1/2 hour to 3 hours.

Ask a trusted friend or family member to go with you for support.

Go see a different doctor about your oral thrush problem. Eating yogurt can help but you should see a doctor first.

    Best wishes
