Last week I dislocated my knee-cap at Rugby, I went to the hospital and they put it back and gave me a knee immobilizer (leg brace); they also told me to go see a specialist in the morning. When I went to see the Specialist he told me that as soon as I can put down my knee and walk on it I should, it will heal faster and my muscles won't go to waste. I started walking that day ( only sleeping with the immobilizer on because I have a tendency to toss and turn) and balancing my weight equally. Now almost a week later the swelling has gone down, and I'm not in pain, but I can not straighten my injured leg as straight as my not injured one and a couple of times I felt an uncomfortable shift of the knee cap and a pop sound.
My parents also told me I will never heal 100% and will always be a little bit of a cripple with my knee, I'm 15 and this scares the C*** out of me.
If anyone can hep, thank you soooooo much in advance. :)

you are giving up too soon. see an orthopedic surgeon. i had knee damage, and seeing an ortho doc was the best thing i did. they are very good at diagnosing knee problems. you may need physical therapy. i did this after knee surgery. it works!

Weight is a problem for many people, especially those trying to lose it. I checked out colon cleanse and it certainly worked for me. There's a free trial going on right now at http://deluch.slimmingdietnow.info , why not try it, why not?

This same sort of thing happened to my brother so i kinda know what you mean. Something like that wont heal so soon, it will take time and you have to be on it more often. For him, it took about a month to heal and he isn't cripled for the rest of his life. He walks and runs perfectly. Pretty much just give it time don't worry. If you still seek more info go to your family doctor again and tell him about what your going through, he may have some further info. Get better soon :)
