I dropped my contact on the floor. Can I still use it?

I have montly contacts so they're supposed to be reused for an entire month before they can be thrown away. I was removing one and it slipped off my finger and landed on the floor. I took probably a minute trying to find it. When i found it, I rinsed it immediately on both sides with solution and then placed it inside its case. I don't plan to use them for the next three days.

If I just leave the fallen contact in the solution for these next three days, will it be alright to use again come Monday? My friend who uses daily contacts told me he always throws his away once they hit the floor. I don't know if this applies for monthlies but I hope not because I don't necessarily have enough to throw this one away. :/

    *sigh*

It will be fine now! Your rinsed it - so that's that.

It is fine to wear as long as you cleaned it with solution

I wouldn't just in case, eye infections are nasty and you could go blind!
I seriously think you should use daily disposable ones.

Yes, you can still use it. Make sure you thoroughly clean it with solution though.

If the surface it landed on is a clean one, then with proper disinfection you should have no problems. Give it a good rub with the cleaning solution and rinse thoroughly...rinse the case and store in more disinfecting solution before wearing.

You can also change the solution daily for extra reassurance.
