I'm 22, male, i have been addicted to oxycontin for 4 years, i recently quit. I haven't used it just over 3 months now. I feel great, everything is well. But i have a bad pain in my right ear (inside) not on the skin but inside, it doesn't give me headaches but its very very uncomfortable and it last from 3 or 4 seconds to up to ten minutes, its happens about once a day. Im a bit of a clean freak so i know my ears are very clean, so i dont think its an ear infection, or is it?

Basically I don't know, but maybe the oxycontin hid the pain and you have a problem in your ear that you are only noticing now. The other thing I suspect is trigeminal neuralgia (google it, there's lots of websites). If it keeps bothering you I would visit a doctor, and say nothing about your previous addiction, because once you admit something like that, the prejudice puts it all down to drug use.
