ah you'll be fine. they can be left in for a few days without any serious risks, but i still wouldn't recommend it. but as yours has just been overnight, no worries.

This has been the first time I've done so but I'm worried about the risk of eye infections.
I forgot to take them out last night and I did immediately this morning, but I have to put them back in for school...What should I do? Will I get any infections?Posted 2 years ago # -
Okay, you very likely will not get an infection. However, depending on the contact brand, you may need to take them out and soak them in saline for a bit and let your eyes breathe. Dont be in a big rush to take them out though, if they have dried out over night they tend to "stick" to your eyeball. It's gross, I know. But you can cure the problem by using eyedrops. I'd put a couple eyedrops in each eye, wait a minute or two, put a few more. And do that for a few minutes. Then once everything has softened up, then try to remove them.
Let them soak in a contact case for at least 30mins (longer if you have time before school). And then you can put them back in. I've been in many pinches before where I've had to put them in little cups of water and I've yet to have an eye infection. Just be cautious when removing them, and be sure to give them their normal 6-8hr soak tonight after you get back from school.
Another alternative could be wearing your glasses for 1 day. But it's up to you. You should be fine.

You won't get any infections. Leaving them in one night is no problem. Make sure to soak them for 6 hours before putting them back in.
Good luck!
