I would not stress it because my first assumption is no. There are real and true symptoms of a first break out like fever, itching, and aching pains. Skin flaking is not necessarily one of them. I would get it checked out by a doctor to be a 100% who can take a skin sample. True you can get it from someone who does not have any symptoms. I would not jump to any conclusions. The truth will come with time and if you do have it then there really is nothing to do other then to start taking the medications for it.

prbly thats what it is that u shaved. but, I would see a doctor just feel secure. Dont take chances like that and I would ask plentyof questions when u go there and dont be shy

The symptoms you describe sound a lot more like results from shaving than herpes, however, it's important that you get tested to find out for sure, and so you wouldn't pass the disease on to other women if by some chance you do have it. Since you used condoms, and she wasn't having an outbreak, you significantly reduced your chance of contracting herpes, which is great news. Not to scare you, but people can still pass on herpes when they don't have an outbreak, especially if they are "shedding", which is what normally happens before an outbreak occurs. And since condoms don't cover the entire skin, they aren't 100% effective in stopping the spread of herpes. Is your girlfriend currently medicated for her herpes? If she is, that also significantly reduces the chances of her transmitting the virus to you, which is more great news. At this point, I do not think you have herpes, but I am not a doctor and I wouldn't know for sure. Please go to the doctor to ease your mind of this worry. Most likely he will tell you that you are okay and you don't have herpes. Good luck! I wish you the best.
