if i gave myself a snake bite piercing, and it left dark brown scares around the piercings... is it

    it looks almost like a cold sore... but it's not... but it's really noticeable.

    Its just the scar tissue. I pierced my belly button by myself and it did that too.

    Its a bruise caused by scare tissue attempting to heal it. I got that from my snakebites too. I kinda miss them tho.. I mite pierce them again. If you want it to heal clearly try applying some vitamin E to it every night and put bandaids on them so the vitamin E wont get all over your pillows. [:

    I had that as well when I got mine done professionally. No worries, it will go down... eventually to a small hole, and if you let them close up, then the scar tissue will look like a tiny white-head, but like i said, no worries just bare with it for now.

    Make sure to put some Bactine on the outside of your piercings,and for the inside wash your mouth out with Listerine at least 4 times a day AND after every meal. Try not to mess with them too much. If you just got them pierced, then do not take them out for the next 3-5 weeks. If you play with them and try to change them out, they can either close up really quickly, and trust me getting them back in isnt fun. Or they will become infected and then it will become really nasty.
