Check for free clinics. You may qualify for free care if you earn little money. Generic meds are available and are often very cheap.
It seems like you value your life at less than $200... This can be fatal.. its near your BRAIN!!!
Or - if all else fails, have the clinic bill you and pay them whatever you can per month.. negotiate with them the best you can! Ask the doc if he has any sample meds he can toss your way cause you're poor (or cheap).
If i have an ear infection and keep taking pain medicine for the pain would the ear infection eventually go away on its own?

That's like asking if you keep putting a band-aid on a bleeding wound, if it would heal on it's own. Yeah, some mild ones might, but the pain meds only cover up the symptoms of pain, but don't do a thing to address the infection.
If you don't have health insurance, there are clinics that have sliding fee scales or cheaper walk-in options. When I had no insurance, I went to a local clinic that had a sliding fee scale and it cost me only $10-20 per appointment (plus $5-10 for most medicines prescribed)... it's definitely worth it to at least inquire to make sure it's not a major infection (which could be very harmful or fatal down the line if left untreated).
