Holding hands and cuddling is fine. As long as you two don't swap bodily fluids, he won't catch it. If you go to the doctor to get tested you should know within 24 hours (unless the medical lab is slow).

But abstaining from transmitting bodily fluids ( kissing, etc...). Get to your doctor and have blood work done to either confirm or negate the possibility.
