Why do my fingers stiffen up and I loose muscle movement for a short moment? It freaks me out more than it hurts. It's as if it goes into a temporary paralysis. When I use my other hand to move it, it'll be fine. Most of the time it's not painful, just pressure.
sometimes my fingers will curl up.

Muscle cramps. Happens all the time. Very normal and not dangerous.
Usually this happens due to overuse, or irritation of your hand and finger muscles.
It will resolve over time.

i think its trigger finger, thats what someone on yahoo answers told me when it was happening to me but you might need to go see a doctor to make sure its nothing serious. not sure why it happens either,
