Indigestion? How long does it last?

    If it lasts more than a couple of days, you can rule out problems with what you ate. At this point I would recommend you see your family doctor or one that specializes in gastric problems.

    Evidently it is a gastritis that you have developed. A mild gastritis may last for a day and severe one for 2 to 3 days. During that time you won't have appetite and take only bland diet.
