I have been taking inhaler ever since i can remember. I would have asthma attacks about once a year where they took me to the doctor and gave me a nebulizer treatment. Considering that, we just bought one. Recently, I got a cold and towards the end of it my asthma got terrible. Nothing will help, i have taken singular, flovent, nebulizer, inhaler and nothing helps. I can barely breathe, and i have pounding headaches. Is there anything i could do to help it?

I have taken prodizone or whatever it called and got a shot in my back.
Today my oxygen level was at about 88 and at its lowest point of 76.

  3. First of all you need to be in the E.R. with Oxygen levels that low. Asthma is a condition in which I have been dealing with my son for 9 years. And, like you, have been through all of the above treatments, and teachers, etc. saying that there must be "something else" you can do. The latest doctor that we are pretty pleased with developed an "asthma action plan" It is something you can follow at home that will decrease the need of e.r. visits and admissions into the hospital. There is 3 levels Green, Yellow and Red. Ask your doc about it. The best thing to do is to ABSOLUTELY keep taking all prescribed medications at scheduled times.

I would get myself to the ER and be put on O2 if I was you. 88 and 76 are VERY low O2 Sats. Normal is 95 and above.
