I'm usually not needy, or clingy, I'm usually really bubbly and I'm ALWAYS talking, I can talk about something random like a cactus for an hour! Yeah, I can I did it to my teacher. But I've been taking birth control for about a month, and I feel different now, I'm SO needy to my boyfriend, I'm asking him all the time "do you still love me?" which even I hate but I feel like I need constant reassurance. And I can't talk like, to the extreme anymore, I end up with "So..whatcha doing?" which I HATE. And I'm crying all the time! Like I LOVE animals, but I cried when I heard about that giant gulf oil spill. I'm already the type of girl who gets mood swings but is birth control making it...extreme mood swings?

Birth control can definitely cause mood swings, so I suppose it would make yours worse. If you're worried about it, you should talk to your doctor and maybe get a prescription for a birth control pill with a lower hormonal dose. (E.g. Tricyclen Lo instead of Tricyclen, etc)
