Is it even possible for me to have dislocated my shoulder this way?

I was on the floor and my friends cat was on the chair infront of me...so i had my left hand on the chair supporting my leaning weight as i reached for the cat with my right. The cat swiped at my right hand and i jerked backwards really fast pushing off the chair with my whole left arm. Halfway through the push i felt a tiny "pop" in my shoulder and my shoulder did this weird circle thing (it was like when you pull your shoulder to your ear and make it rotate in a full circle, but it did it a lot more) and then it felt like it "went back in place" if it were dislocated. when it stoped being so painful and was bearable i continued on with everything but when i move my arm backwards or upwards it hurts and makes this small popping motion and hurts insanly much...and when im not moving it (like right now) it hurts quite a bit as well...not as much but still quite a lot. And i thought maybe the pain would go away after a short while but its the second day and it still hurts.

Did i dislocate it and re-locate it or is it something else?
