Absolutely possible. Would it be at all possible for you to see a physician in a non-emergency setting? That might get you a little more continuity in your diagnoses.

So I went to the ER about and week and a half ago because I was having some difficulty breathing, after a long visit the doctor diagnosed me with Pneumonia. I was given an anti-biotic and something else for minor chest pain. I finished off my medicine and my chest was still feeling really congested, a little difficulty breathing and I was having a dry cough. So I returned to the ER today I was given breathing treatments etc. and some chest X-RAYS were taken. The doctor returned having seen the X-RAY said I was doing much better than compared to my previous X-RAY when I had Pneumonia. He said the anti-biotic that was prescribed worked but maybe not to the full extent. I was then given steroids to take and sent home, but I don't recall having heard the doctor say if my Pneumonia still existed. I looked at the diagnosis report and it said I had Acute Bronchitis. I have heard of people getting Pneumonia after they have had Bronchitis but never vice versa Pneumonia before Bronchitis. I suppose I am dragging this out to much but simply, Is it possible to get Pneumonia before Bronchitis??? THANKS :)
