The intestines are highly vascular so absorption of the alcohol would in fact be possible .The oral route has stomach acids and specific ducts that filter via the liver,Vomiting is a safety mechanism when too much has been consumed ,it stops alcohol blood poisoning.By introducing alcohol via the rectum those are bypassed and intoxication would be high very likely ,and very dangerous.Posted 2 years ago #
