Is it possible to have an STD if your parents don't and you aren't sexually active?

    Probably not. But it depends on the disease. Some STDs can be transmitted in other ways, even if they're mainly known as STDs.

    Nope. but remeber having oral is counted as sexual intercourse. you can get std that why too. If thats what you mean.

    You CAN get certain STDs from toilet seats, other bodily fluid transfer, and sharing clothes.

    parents are regardless, only if you have sex with them. hence the sex in sexually transmitted disease. you cannot catch it through hugs kisses handshakes etc. even hiv.
    no there is no way you can have an std.

    Yes if you mean HPV. It is passed thru the skin in the groin area which includes the inside upper thigh. In fact, that is where the virus is in its highest concentration. You can pass it while wearing shorts or a swimsuit and never have sexual contact. You also should consider that most people lie about std's- even parents. You and everyone else should be getting the vaccine. HPV is responsible for at least half of all the cancers out there. Even when the cancer is treated, the virus remains.

    you dont have one... if there never was an STD to begin with, you dont have one. as long as you dont have sex, your clear of all stds.
