There are a number of conditions where the cornea (the clear part on the front of your eye) changes. One of these is arcus. In this condition, you get cholesterol deposits in the edge of your cornea. This causes a blueish grey band to form. It poses no risk to vision but is an indication that cholesterol may be high. Sometimes in trauma, the entire cornea will turn white. An eye in this condition would be blind. There is a condition called pigmentary dispersion syndrome where pigment falls off of the iris. I have never seen anyone where I thought the color had changed but I suppose it is possible. People that use some glaucoma medications end up with darker eyes.
