I know I shouldn't be on here asking this, but I'm somewhat confused, and do plan on going to the doctor. I've had what I think is heart pain, but might just be lung pain, which is still serious, I know. Its about an inch below my armpit, to the left of my left nipple, and wrapping around almost to that bone in your back that looks like a little chicken wing. The pain is off and on, but not severe, and I'm just confused. Has anyone had this symptom before? I smoke cigarettes, which is completely stupid, but might explain why the lung hurts--and also may explain the heart. I'm 20, about 160 lbs., don't exercise enough, and live off of college food and drink, so I'm really not a healthy individual. Any ideas of what this might be? Thanks.

when you get pain take an asprine right away if your having a heart attack that will really help you go to the doctor as soon as possible but it could just be a side affect of smoking
