In order for your teeth to move, they must become loose. Most people won't notice because the brackets are tied onto the archwire but when the wire is removed, the teeth may feel and look like they are just waving in the wind. Not to worry because this is perfectly normal. BTW, this is the reason why retainers are so important after braces are removed. The teeth must be held solidly in place until the surrounding bone rehardens again to hold teeth where they were moved to by the braces. This takes many months and possibly a couple of years.

Just got braces huh? Yea i thought my teeth would fall out when i got mine on. It is COMPLETELY normal to feel like that. Every single time i got mine tightened my teeth felt like they where going to fall out. So don't worry at all take an advil or something and all the pain will go away. You'll get through just fine so don't worry. :P

Yeah, It's definitely normal. It's our hormones acting up, especially if it's "something physical" but if its pointless, don't waste your time on it.
