Is this strep or mono? or other?

    It sounds more like Strep. Are you coughing? Coughing is more likely with Mono than Strep.

    Only way to tell if it is mono is to have your doctor do a test. I had mono and it was exactly like strep...only a little worse. You do feel tired and sleep alot but if you already have anemia then you couldn't tell for sure. Go to the doctor and check it out.

    It sounds like strep, but the only way to make sure is to have a strep test done. Strep throat MUST be treated by a doctor with antibiotics. If it isn't you will get a worse infection that can really get serious. I had symptoms of strep throat once and it turned out to be mono, only a doctor can tell you for sure so you have to go to the doctor.
