I've always been overweight, and I know this is what has caused my knee pain off an on for the last ten years. I've been improving my diet and I've started working out - neither of which I've really been concerned about. Please don't make fun, I'm trying to improve my health. If you've had any experience strengthening leg strength, maybe you could give me some pointers?
When my knee acts up, it's usually the right one (sometimes left) and my knee really aches if I keep it bent. It pops insanely loud when I straighten it. When I squat down, I can't stand put any of my weight on my right leg, otherwise I'm pretty much stuck. The pain lessons when I massage the muscle next to my knee, on the inside of my leg. I have no idea what that's called. When it isn't hurting, I can bend, stand, sit, jump etc without problems.
Hope that helps!
Don't know how it's relevant, but I am married lol
I had x-rays taken the last time my knee acted up, and it was clear, no problems. Think it's muscular.
