Here you go, my friend:
What causes my green poop?
Green poop can be caused by a number of different reasons, most having to do with diet. For starters, having too much iron in your diet can cause that nice grassy shade to appear in the toilet bowl. This is especially true if you are taking iron supplements; too much iron in your diet can stain and create your green poop. Also, green poop can be caused by a diet high in leafy vegetables like spinach. If you are finding green poop in your toilet bowl, go back through all you've eaten and determine whether you have eaten an overabundance of salad. Green food dyes can also cause green poop, especially those found in ice creams, candies, and some cereals.
If you're experiencing green poop as a result of your diet there is no need to fear, as your feces should regain its original brown color over time as whatever is causing the stain works its way out of your system.
Another slightly more serious, and much more disgusting, situation that can cause your green poop is parasites living in your colon. Yes, it is distasteful to think that you have parasites living in your intestines, turning your poop green, but the truth is that these parasites are more common than most people realize.
These parasites that might be causing your green poop can often easily be dealt with through a very common colon cleanse.
I'd still keep a watchful eye, and call your doc if this keeps up.

Green poop can be cause by 3 main and common things.
First, it is spinach or some kind of died food. If you ate anything died green or grossly green, it might be what's causing the green poop. This is no serious condition and you should just get on with your life if this is it.
Second, it can be caused by gastrointestinal infection. This will not kill you as long as you don't ignore it. If you think you may have gastrointestinal infection, I recommend you go see your doctor. However, there is no need to go crazy over this. It could just be that green milk you just drank.
And finally, the third reason. If you had a course of antibiotics recently, then it might be the bacterium Clostridium difficile. This bacterium is overgrowing because of the antibiotics. However, the poo that is usually caused by this bacterium is foul smelling and diarrhea-like in texture. Treatment options generally include one main course of action: another round of antibiotics that targets Clostridium difficile. After the antibiotics, you should be able to get back to your normal life.
There isn't really a more serious cause of green poo than those listed here. [gastrointestinal infection is the most serious]. So you shouldn't freak out. If you know you didn't eat anything green, then go see your doctor. You won't die.

I'd say it's the dayquill. If you haven't eaten any of the foods that other people have mentioned than it's the pills. Contact the pharmacy that you deal with and ask the pharmacist.
