Insurance isn't picking up the cost of the lexapro so they switched me to Citalopram. Thing is I am not sure I want to start taking it.
The fight with the ins company has been going on a month so despite being on lexapro, the doc saw no problem with letting me go without medication for almost 3 weeks.
Main question is sexual side effects. Delayed ejaculation the same with the 2 drugs?

I switched from Lexapro to Citalopram a while back, to save money - I don't have insurance. The Citalopram did not work for me, and I ended up back on Lexapro. I'm taking 10 mg per day, so I'm getting 20 mg pills and cutting them in half - that saves a lot of money!

The sexual side effects should be about the same, since they're both SSRI's.

There are a lot of people that take Wellbutrin with their SSRI's, it helps to counteract some of the possible side effects - such as drowsiness, weight gain, and the sexual side effects. It really does make a difference!!
