we've been together almost 3 years now, and haven't had any problems with him keeping an erection. but lately he's having alot of problems getting it up. he's always saying that its cause he isn't feeling good, or its his diabetes. (hes had it his whole life since he was born, i think its type 1?)
no matter what i do, he wont stay hard, and its starting to get really frustrating. does anyone else have this problem?

not the diabetes. his medications. Once his sugar stabilizes it will be better.

I know a few that do.
High blood sugars damage the capillaries in his body.
It can be treated with Cialis, Levitra, and Viagra most of the time.
However, he may have to have surgery to fix the problem.
High blood pressure can cause ED problems as well.
He should see his doctor for evaluation. If he's got damage there, where else does he have damage?
There are other 'marital' aids that can help him get by.
There are certain 'toys' that he can wear that can at least help you out in that department. There are 'other' ways to please a woman other than just the 'regular' way ya know :-) .
If he's on Medicare, I think they cover a vacuum device that helps as well.
Diabetes DOES make you feel awful many times, especially when his blood sugars are not well controlled. It's part of the disease unfortunately.

That's a common problem for men with diabetes. He should discuss the issue with his endocrinologist.

Absolutely diabetes can have a detrimental effect on the ability to maintain an erection. Could be circulation, neuropathy even low blood sugar level. Not to scare you. I would highly recommend a calcium, magnesium, zinc supplement, Diabetics flush out a lot of vitamins and minerals and zinc is essential for a mans sex life. take with food or could cause nausea. check out my website at
