Well the main issue here is that braces are designed to stay shiny. They are made from stainless steel. However an acid might be able to put what is called "blueing" on it. Usually you could test this out with various acids but since this is already in your mouth you can't actually use many things. The only thing I could really find was mustard. This might work while not destroying your teeth. If not you are unfortunately stuck with it.

I just got my braces yesturday(im 13) I guess that means u bin cleaning them good to be that shiny maybe you shouldent clean as much so it can start going away just a little

well, i've had braces for like 3 months now and i have had light reflect off of them but i don't see the big problem... If you really don't like it then you could ask the orthodontist if there is something you could do but i wouldn't try to use any chemicals or anything besides food and beverages... which still isn't exactly a great idea either.... but, ummmmm, yeah, the best option is definitely to ask your orthodontist
