I mean DOs are getting closer and closer to MDs in every aspect of their education and work every year. The MCAT and GPA requirements are much higher than they used to be for DO schools. And its not like being a DO absolutely excludes you from a particuular specialty, though you may have to work a little harder. I know a few DOs that are actually directors in their departments at hospitals. So what do you guys think, am I alone? Is my dad correct?

    Thanks

My professional experience with DOs has been good.
As in any profession, there are good & bad.
DOs (along with DCs) get a bum rap from the MDs.
I swear, it's like fraternity row competition.
I know more "quack" MDs than DOs or DCs.
