You and your husband appear to be heterozygous when it comes to blood types. Blood types are multiple allelic. You and your husband had both "IBi" instead of "IBIB". Your youngest son inherited two (little) i's, which is the type "O" genotype. Your other son has a 50/50 chance of being heterozygous (IBi) typed B.

It wouldn't mattter if "someone else in the family" had it, contrary to the person below me. The only blood types that would possibly be significant are the parents, and maybe, if desperate, a grandparent. The above reasons are fairly accurate.

  3. Someone else in your family (or your husband's family) probably has it. You should try doing an experiment with punnet squares...

Or maybe your actual son died and your husband, not wanting to upset you, replaced him with a demonic soul who is actually Satan's offspring.

Your son is type O because you and your husband are both most likely

IBIO which means that there is a 1/4 chance that your son can be IOIO (which is type O).
