I went in to my dentist's office to get my fill-ins refilled, she replaced the old metal colored ones with white. When I got up I felt a bit dizzy and my mouth was super dry from the suction thing, after I got home all this saliva was coming up into my mouth and I felt like throwing up, I got some Alka-selzer and it made me feel better. I go to the dentist regularly and have had extractions and root canals and this is the first time I have ever felt this way after dental work. A friend of mine says its normal. Should I tell my dentist about this on my next visit? Maybe she used something different? And will this happen every time I get work on my teeth done?

The symptoms you describe are not anything usual. I have no idea if she used something that you may have been sensitive or allergic to, but it would be a good idea to relate this to her at your next dental appointment. Maybe she would have a better idea if she did something new or used something different. good luck.
