My nose has bled four times today, one in the morning, one after work and one right now... now I know I only had one hour of sleep last night but I also have 5 upcoming tests.. and I live in Texas so we just had a blizzard storm... but yeah

I don't have health insurance, so try not to request that I go see a doctor or anything.. I'm supposed to have health insurance but the insurance companies are a pain to deal with when I had just turned 19-20 they cancelled my insurance and made me submit a proof of enrollment at a university (which I did) but somehow they 'mysteriously' lose it.. and it takes many 'business' days to process apparently.

Try also not to tell me to go to sleep or lay off the work load... I don't work very hard to begin with (terrible GPA) and I have 3 tests on Monday that were pushed forward due to the snow day cancellation at my university...

basically try not to tell me to:
    - Go to the doctor
    - Sleep
    - Lay off the stress

Thank you for any help if it can be given!
Also my nose bleeds has always been in my left nostril, I seldom get it but never 3 times in a day.
Thank you, but, I am not taking any medications whatsoever...

This common condition occurs when blood vessels in the nose overreact to certain environmental or emotional stimuli by swelling up and triggering excess mucus production. Common culprits include changes in air temperature and humidity, strong odors, spicy food, and even strong feeling like anger. But it may be related to your allergies-- or more precisely, your allergy medications, if you're taken. Antihistamines and decongestants can dry the mucous lining of the nasal passages. Rubbing, scratching, or other trauma can easily cause bleeding in a dry nose. To lessen drying, minimize your use of those medications and keep your environment comfortably humidified. I hope this helps you. And good luck.

  4. It depends on how bad the nosebleeds are. If there's blood actually pouring out of your nose and you can't stop it, then that's bad. But if you are wiping your nose and see some blood, that's perfectly normal. I have this happen to me all the time and it happens to me for two reasons.

    # 1 - the air in my house is dry
    # 2 - it happens when I'm extremely stressed out.

Try buying an air humidifier if the air in your house is dry. This will help. Also try to relax if you're really stressed out. Drink tea, take some vitamins, relax.
