I am a 26 year old female (I am on my bf Richard's account) and I had a VERY scary iincident today. I was laying down casually watching TV and I started to feel tingly in my jaw and chest. It felt like my heart was vibrating randomly. The tingling sensation started to get more intense and soon my whole body felt very strange. My heart was pounding strangely and I had chest pain (I get chest pain from time to time but usually nothing really painful). I felt like I was going to pass out and I was breathing really fast but I coulsn't slow it down. I was sort of confused and I went to the room and started cring after a few minutes because I felt really scared. After about 10-15 mins it just slowed down and I felt better. Then like 10 mins later my bf and I started to argue lightly and it started back up again. I couldn;t breathe and I started crying again. I went to the room again and layed down and it stopped after a few mins.

WTF IS GOING ON WITH ME?! I do have a VERY stressful life and I drink a lot of beer. I am not overweight and I eat healthy.

    Thank you.

This sounds like a problem that requires a medical exam. Women have different symptoms of heart problems then men do. And you're describing possible heart problems.

I think your body is telling you to get help. BTW, stress is known to be a big contributor to heart disease. Even young people can have heart problems, sometimes hereditary or unknown until you have the experience you are describing.

The fact that it is recurring is also troubling. Please get checked out soon! Tell the medical people the same information and let them help you!

Stress can cause some of your symptoms. It could also be that the stress is aggravating an existing heart problem. From your description it appears to be a heart rhythm condition rather than a arterial blockage. No one in this type of answers forum can tell you what the problem is. No matter what it could be, it is time for you to have it checked out thoroughly. Sooner rather than later. Do not wait. Make an appointment with your doctor. If it turns out to be a false alarm then at least that source of stress will be eliminated. Best of luck to you.

Sounds like you need to take it easy on the booze. Sounded like a panic symptom.

More likely panic attack but get checked. Also stress is NOT a risk factor for heart attacks (many years ago it was thought to be but now it is known not to be)
