I think I have psychotic depression. When not on abilify I get super paranoid and I think that everyone is trying to screw me over. The paranoia gets so bad that I start acting out and I try to harm others. I get avolition and I stop showering and changing clothes and brushing my teeth. I go on eating binges and I stop exercising. My mom says that I go on rants about the homeless and that I become narcissistic and I lose my empathy. At night I am afraid to go to sleep because I think someone is going to bust through the door and shoot me. When on the abilify, I am a lot better, but I still keep the blinds shut encase there is a sniper who is going to shoot me through the window. By the way, this all started when I moved from Washington, D.C. to Oregon when I was 16.
What do you guys think? Do you have similar experiences or do I have something else?

you should probably get something more sedating or add an anti depressant if you think you have depression. Psychosis depression is a very severe form of major depressive disorder, so you would need to have some sore of anti depressant with the anti spychotic. it could take many meds, i finally feel good after being put on 4 different meds, 3 of which are heavy sedatives. Good luck and talk to the doc that gave you abilify.
