Are you moisturizing enough? You should wash your face day and night and put lotion on your face after you dry it. Without lotion, your skin will produce sebum and become oily. Putting on lotion will reduce the production.
Oil is good for you. It keeps your skin vibrant and wrinkle free. When you strip your skin of oil, it becomes dry and therefore produces oil. To prevent this, put on lotion so that your skin receives moisture and does not produce oil.

  2. I am a teenage boy -- fifteen years old -- and have incredibly oily skin. It has gotten to the point where it is so uncomfortable and irritating that I can hardly go through the day. When I wash my face, it comes back almost instantly. The most prominent parts the oil reaches are my cheeks, my nose especially, and the area right above my lip and under my nose.

    Notes:

I use tazorac and duac creams for my acne that were prescribed by my dermotologist. I use beroxyl wash in the shower. I use Stridex wipes but they do very little to help with my oily skin condition. Please help me. It may sound strange, but this is ruining my life.
Edit: Thank you Chelsea, but I've used Stridex wipes and they do little to help. The oil comes back almost instantly.

You can buy these little oil absorbing sheets at a drug store (CVS, walgreens, Rite Aide, etc). They come in a little packet and you just press them onto your face where the oil is, and they absorb the oil. They're very cheap and you can find them in the same section as all the other skin care products.

when i was your age i used isopropyl alcohol or better known as rubbing alcohol,, on a paper towel or wash cloth. it is flammable like many other products so you dont want to use it around open flame . i suggest trying it on a white paper towel and you will see the results. this will not only clean your skin but will remove the oil from it .

I remember seeing this on youtube that showed a really severe case of acne. And this product called acnepractice cleared it up really fast. (go to source links)
    I don't know if it'll work. But it's worth a try. Good luck :)
