how do you stop swelling in second degree burns?
does the bubble thing have to look like a bubble or can it be a bubblish long thing around knuckles?
i have took medicine and used cream and it still burns. is something wrong?
will it leave PERMANENT scars or skin discoloration?

Don't put cream on it. That will just trap the heat in.

iv burned myself pretty good before, i cant say much but from a guess you will probably get blisters and it might scar but not permanently. In addition to the cream you should put ice on the wound to decrease swelling and numb the burn.

Burns heal up different in every person, but it time heals all wounds. Use alot of neosporin to keep infections out and just let it heal. Scaring (if ANY) will be minimal. now when you talk about bubbles and stuff, i have no idea what your talking about... burn cream will help with the healing process but not much will stop the pain.

First, take great care NOT to pop the blisters. If you do, it will hurt worse and can lead to infection. Cool, damp cloths laid gently over the burn or holding the burned area under cool water will help with the pain and swelling. Don't use ice. Any meds the doctor gave you should be used as directed. I have found the burn bandages made by Johnson and Johnson are really good to use. They have an aqua pad that cools the area and relieves the pain. Make sure, though, that the pad is larger than the burn so none of the tape sticks to the burn. Walmart sales them or ask the pharmacist at your local drug store.
