you probably pulled your oblique muscle which is also known as your side abs. Your body probably isn't used to making the movement from the slip n slide. Just rest it and it should be fine in a couple days. Going in the pool would be okay because it would relax the muscle, but don't overdo it in the pool and run around

Pulled a muscle in my side or stomach ?

You really can't pull a muscle very easily but you can pinch the muscles in your back especially if you were doing the slip and slide thing. A pinched muscle in your back is going to affect other body parts and make them go into pain by pressing on the nerves as they leave the spine. Other muscles just tighten up and cause the pain. Here is how you can release your back muscles to get rid of the pain:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and firmly press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain at ease.Posted 1 year ago #
