Questions about laser eye surgery?

check out PLK... there are no blades used in that.

PLK works by burning through the cornea instead of cutting it, so the healing time takes longer. (I'm totally freaked out by the cutting too!)

I haven't had laser eye surgery myself, but I know people who have, and they've had no problems.

Make sure you find a very good doctor, and not some fly-by-night quack. Discuss it with them and take all risks into consideration, especially if you have eye problems such as dry eye, astigmatism, etc.

there is no "PLK". the other answerer probably means "PRK", which is the precursor to LASIK. its not better.
