It's probably a boil. Go to your doc and he can cut it out. If you lance it then it will probably come back. You have to get the core out so it will go away. Takes 15 minutes in the docs office.

See a doctor for evaluation. Maybe it's caused from sitting on your billfold/wallet! Turn the other cheek!

It might just be a cyst, which are almost always non-cancerous. Sometimes we bruise ourselves and years later a cyst can form - they are not as serious as tumors but need to be removed by a surgeon, You should have it looked at and if you need surgery it will most likely be done on an out-patient basis, meaning you won't have to check into the hospital.
