Severe pain in whole stomache.?

So I've been trying to find a diagnosis for this online & haven't gotten any luck. It's basically this excruciating pain in the whole stomach itself & it's so bad that it makes me cry. Sometimes vomiting can help but other times it doesn't. I can't lay down in any position because of the pain. When I get up from lying down I have to catch my breath. Standing up or sitting up is the only way I can deal with the pain. I feel a bit nauseated but I am unable to vomit. Usually this occurs at night but it has happened during the day once. I know for a FACT that it is not an ulcer, gas or cramps. This is only the 4th time that it has happened to me. The first time I actually laid in a position & that helped it. The second time I vomited & it went away. The third time I was in a vehicle & the pain only lasted for 10 minutes then vanished. This 4th time I tried to lay down & it made the pain worse, I tried to throw up & barely anything came up, but after I tried to at least throw up I felt a bit better. I just have to sit now & sometimes the pain comes back every 5 minutes but it isn't as bad as it was earlier. Can anybody help? I hate going through this, because it feels like someone shot me.

I don't get why people post about their illness on yahoo answers. If it hurts that much, GO TO THE DOCTOR. Noone can diagnose you online!!

The time you laid in a position, was that curled up so your back was very rounded? That would make sense if that is what happened. It sounds like you have a pinched muscle in your back which is pressing on the nerves going to the stomach which is then making the stomach put out more acid than it needs and you have a burn going on. It may not be an ulcer yet, but untreated it will become one. When you have vomited during the pain you may have released the pinched muscle enough for it to let you be, but those never seem to be a full release, just a partial one that leads to the same problem happening over and over. When you release your back it is a full release which is going to make it harder for this to happen again. Here's how to release your back muscles to get rid of this pain in your stomach:
    Back:
    (do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
