My name is Louis and I am only 14 and at least 6'3 tall, as you have heard some people at an accelerated growth sometimes have brain tumors. I watched a true documentary with a teenager just like me, although he grew 6 feet one night and ended up surviving his ordeal I am still concerned. I had stress headaches in the near end of 2009 that lasted up to 2 months, about May 22 I had a vision problem in my right eye, this was unofficially declared a stress attack. I sometimes have a headache on my left side of my head, its brief, not painful, slightly distracting, and its just there daily. A doctor once noticed my height and mention to visit a specialist "Endocrinologist" I am wondering weather to push pressure onto my father to get life insurance butt he claims nothing to be wrong. Please give me advice and comforting words of wisdom.

You're concerned about acromegaly, which is caused by a pituitary tumor. Acromegaly has other distinct symptoms beyond excessive growth. It can be successfully treated by removing the tumor and the pituitary gland. You do need to see an endocrinologist to be tested for acromegaly. Rather than making yourself sick with worry, talk to your father about seeing the endocrinologist.
