Shoveling injury... What is it?

(2 posts)
  1. I was shoveling a lot of the heavy snow that hit the mid atlantic this past week. After shoveling two days in a row I noticed that the bone in my right arm hurt every time I lifted anything that was heavy or even slightly heavy. Any other time I use my arm it doesn't hurt. It is a dull pain not sharp. Is it something I should be worried about (like a fracture or something) or is it something I should just wait and it will get better?

i think it's going to get better... ice it and see if anything improves over a week or so unless the pain get too bad to handle... if it doesn't improve after a week or the pain gets too bad go see a doctor and get an x-ray

i don't know how it could be broken unless you hit it on something or fell... it could just be your muscles, because you probably haven't used those specific ones this often in a while...

wait and see :/ it's really all you can do
