Sinus Infection? Could cat allergies have caused this?

    I'm stuffed up and sneezing, with my ears clogged and a sore throat. I got a kitten a week and a half ago. However, I was congested and sneezing before then. My question is, can animal allergies make a sinus infection WORSE? I don't think it's just the allergies, because I was away from the cat for 3 days and was still feeling like crap. Any ideas? Also, any ways to relieve symptoms?

    Yes allergies would make a sinus infection feel worse.
    If you have cat hair/dander on your clothes, in your car and on whatever you took with you, you'd probably still be bothered by it for the 3 days.
    for the sinus infection go to the doctor. for the cat, wash everything, keep the cat out of your bedroom, try some over the counter medicine for allergies. hope it helps.
