I have combination skin. I use Noxzema Anti-baterial Lathering Cleanser, 2% salicylic acid Noxzema anti-blemish pads and Olay combination spf 15 lotion in the morning and at night, I'll use the same cleanser, but 10 % benzoyl peroxide and Ponds Cream. My skin so dry. Should I use the pads or the benzoyl peroxide?
I have mild acne. I break out on the side of my jaws, above my lip and chin. I occasionally, get little bumps on my nose. That's it. When I do break out, I'll get one zit on my left side and about 4 or 5 little zit on the right side.
I recently purchased some tea tree lotion by Queen Helene, which can be used on the face as well. It has cleared up some blisters I had in the palm of my hand. Not sure how it would work on my face.

  2. what you are using is way drying to your skin. Do you have acne? I would drop the anti blemish pads in the morning and just wash and moisturize. Then at night use the pads or the 10 percent benzoyl peroxide after cleansing and then try a more moisturizing moisurizer to sleep in. People who break out tend to overdo it with products and end up very dried out. Good luck. Remember less is more!

okay well fist of all the reason y ur skin is so dry is b/c ur using so many chemicals on your face. instead of using all those products i think you should just use one acne product for ur face in the moring and at night. and use a moiturizer in between. ps noxzema pads are realy strong thats whats drying ur skin out

I would use the wash, then toner. Then acne cream only if you have blemishes.
Add some facial cream to the eye area if needed.

You may even want a more gentle soap like Aveeno Clear Complexion.
Follow with a toner it helps balance your skin. A brand I enjoy is Alba.
