    It was over-hyped by the media. Most people at this point who were subject to getting it already got it. THe rest of us are naturally immune or already got our H1N1 shots.

    Pig flu is alive and well. I work at a mortuary and do see the HINI flu as the underlying cause of death. i think more people are aware and taking preventative measures. Like anything else... the excitement fades but it's still around.

    It's Avian Flu II, pretty much. With the trillions upon trillions of people dying, oh yes.

    You can thank the news media for that. Every new disease will kill everyone.

    The actual experts were initially quite concerned about this strain, but as more data came in it was very clear it wasn't going to be a lethal pandemic.

    It still infected a lot of people and killed a significant number.

    Weren't there supposed to be hundreds of thousands if not millions of people dying left and right this winter flu season? Weren't all the clinics out of the vaccine and those who had them nobody wanted to take them anyways? So who's all go the swine flu and dying? Wasn't it supposed to be the modern day black plague?
