Still feeling weak and light headed hours after donating blood?

    Just wanna see if its normal, my first time donating. I donated about 12:45 and afterwards started feeling this way, and it hasn't stopped. They gave me a number with my id number to call if I feel flu like symptoms that I'll call if i feel like this tomorrow, but just wanna see if its normal. Thanks
    Felt a few times like i was going to faint as well

    It happens frequently. Make sure that you eat something, like protein. Take it easy and don't overexert yourself for the next day or so. Call them tomorrow if you are still feeling bad. Make sure that you eat something, drink a coke or something with some sugar to it.
