Theoretical question: If BOTH eyes were to be ripped out of your sockets, would you live?

    Out of pure curiosity, would you live if they were torn right out of the sockets?
    If yes, how?

    Yes, you would live. It's not like your heart or lungs have been ripped out. You'd just be blind and in a lot of pain.

    For the most part yes you would likely live.

    You would lose blood but probably not enough to kill you, after a few hours the bleeding would probably stop. After then the risk is of infection, particularly meningitis after 12-36 hours or so. If you received prompt medical treatment the chances of death are very unlikely.

    Also im assuming the eyes are removed with a blunt object, such as a spoon or hands (ew lol) if a sharp implement is used it's more likely to puncture brain, but even then you can usually survive frontal lobe brain injury, you might not be the same person afterwards however!
