    That's a faint, big time. Can't rightly say what it was from, though - could be low blood pressure (hypotension), could be a mild sort of panic attack, could be a flu symptom (if you have the flu), or it could be some sort of neurological/brain thing? I'd check with a doctor.

    Fainting is not caused by head trauma, since loss of consciousness after a head injury is considered a concussion. However, fainting can cause injury if the person falls and hurts themselves, or if the faint occurs while participating in an activity like driving a car.

    What causes fainting (syncope)?

    Decreased blood flow to the brain can occur because 1) the heart fails to pump the blood; 2) the blood vessels don't have enough tone to maintain blood pressure to deliver the blood to the brain; 3) there is not enough blood or fluid within the blood vessels;
    Have you ever been checked for low blood sugar or high blood sugar? This could be another cause. I am not sure if you fainted or just passed out ! I had fainting spells a few years ago due to weak stomach,,,someone would show blood or needles, and oooops there i would go..but I still could hear, walk and talk to a bed and understand what was going on, i just felt super drunk or something like that. when you are usually coming out of a faint, you sweat when coming back into full conciousnes. This happened to me at the hospital, they were saying "yes she is coming back, here goes the sweating" and they gave me meds so i didn't feel so queezy in an IV. Please get that checked. You could really have Vertigo even.
